On 25 September 2007, the Holy See Mission to the United Nations, the Path to Peace Foundation, the University of Notre Dame (IN) and Purdue University (IN) held a side event at the opening of the 62nd session of the United Nations General Assembly on "Global Health in Focus". The panel discussion was held at the hall of the Holy Family Church in New York. The speakers from the University of Notre Dame and Purdue University presented projects aimed at disease prevention and treatment in developing countries to an audience of Ambassadors, Delegates to the United Nations,
